1. What Impromptu Date is
Impromptu Date is a private social-experiences platform where members propose real-world outings and invite other members to join them. It is not a matchmaking service, an escort service, or a guarantee of companionship, romance or any particular outcome.
The service is currently in a closed pre-beta with a small number of invited participants. Features may change, break or be withdrawn without notice, and data created during this period may be reset.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. You must affirm your age in the application before you can create or join an outing. Providing a false affirmation is a breach of these terms and grounds for immediate removal.
Membership is by invitation during pre-beta and may be withdrawn at any time at our discretion.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you publish, for keeping your credentials secure, and for everything done through your account. One account per person. Do not impersonate anyone or misrepresent who you are.
4. Conduct
You agree to follow the Community Guidelines and Safety Guidelines, which form part of these terms. Harassment, threats, discrimination, solicitation, commercial promotion, sexual services, and any unlawful activity are prohibited.
5. Meeting other members — your own judgement applies
Impromptu Date does not screen, background check, endorse or vouch for any member. During pre-beta, identity verification and background screening are not operational. No badge, label or status in the application should be read as a guarantee that a person is who they say they are or is safe to meet.
You decide whom to meet, where, and on what terms. You are solely responsible for your own safety and conduct when you meet another member in person.
6. Content you post
You keep ownership of what you post. You grant us a limited licence to host, display and transmit it so the service can operate. We may remove content that breaches these terms or the guidelines.
7. Suspension and removal
We may warn, restrict, suspend or remove an account where we believe these terms or the guidelines have been breached, or where we consider it necessary for the safety of members. Where an appeals process is available in the application, you may use it.
8. No fees during pre-beta
No fees are charged during pre-beta and no payment details are collected. Any future paid membership will be introduced with its own terms and explicit consent.
9. Disclaimers and limits
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude warranties of any kind and are not liable for the acts or omissions of other members, for anything that happens at an in-person meeting, or for indirect or consequential loss.
Flagged for attorney review · Limitation of liability, indemnity, warranty disclaimers, assumption-of-risk language, arbitration/venue and class-action provisions all require attorney drafting and review before any public launch, and must be checked against Texas law and the states of any future launch cities.
10. Ending your membership
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. What is removed and what is retained is described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be surfaced in the application. Questions about these terms can be raised through the in-app report and support flows.
Flagged for attorney review · A registered business entity, notice address and governing-law clause must be inserted before public launch.
