The point of this place
Impromptu Date exists for one reason: “I want to do something, but I don’t want to do it alone.” The outing comes first, the company second, and romance is entirely optional. Two people can share a good evening and never see each other again. That is a success, not a failure.
What we expect
- Be honest about who you are and what you are proposing.
- Be clear about the activity, the time and the general place.
- Reply, even when the answer is no. A decline needs no reason and carries no penalty.
- Show up, or say as early as you can that you cannot.
- Respect a “no”, a change of mind, or a quiet exit at any point.
What is not allowed
- Harassment, threats, intimidation, stalking or repeated unwanted contact.
- Hate speech or discrimination on any protected ground.
- Sexual content, sexual solicitation, or any exchange of money for companionship.
- Impersonation, fake photos, or misrepresenting your age or identity.
- Anyone under 18, or content involving minors.
- Selling, recruiting, promotion, spam or bulk messaging.
- Pressuring anyone to meet privately, to drink, or to go anywhere they did not agree to.
- Sharing another member’s photos, messages or details outside the platform.
- Anything unlawful.
If something goes wrong
Use Block to stop someone reaching you, and Report to tell us what happened. Reports are private: the person you report is never shown your report or told who filed it. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
What happens after a report
Reports are reviewed by authorised people, not by an automated judge. Depending on what we find, the outcome may be no action, a warning, a restriction, or removal from the platform. Where an appeal is available you will be able to use it in the application.
