DFW early-access waitlist
Joining the waitlist does not create a member account or guarantee selection or immediate access. The waitlist stays open while founders select sequential testing cohorts of approximately 30 participants, beginning in Dallas–Fort Worth.
We collect your first and last name, email, mobile phone number, city and ZIP code; activities and availability you choose to share; and an optional response about what excites you. We record your 18-or-older affirmation, waitlist acknowledgment, registration time and last record update. We do not ask for a birth date, ID documents, payment details or background-check information at registration.
We use these details to save and deduplicate registrations, send a confirmation email, review interest and availability, organize cohorts and contact selected applicants. Authorized founders and administrators can access these records and add an internal status, cohort assignment and notes. Waitlist contact details are not displayed to members or other applicants. Our hosting, database and email providers process this information to operate the waitlist; we do not sell it.
Waitlist retention and removal requests
Waitlist records are kept so we can consider applicants across successive testing cohorts. If you are not selected, we keep your waitlist registration for up to 24 months from the date you registered, after which our team deletes it. An internal status of “removed” is an administrative label, not deletion of the stored record. Deleting a member account does not automatically delete a separate waitlist registration.
Privacy contact and deletion requests
To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, including your waitlist registration, email privacy@impromp2date.com from the email address you registered with, and tell us what you would like us to do.
We may ask you to confirm your request from that address so we can verify it is you. We will complete or respond to your request within 30 days. If we must keep any information for a legal or safety obligation, we will tell you what we kept and why. Members can also delete their account at any time from Settings, as described below.
Any future screening process
Identity or background screening is not active for this waitlist. Registration, cohort assignment and status changes do not initiate screening. If a future testing phase introduces screening, selected participants will first receive a separate explanation of the provider, purpose, information required, consent, who can access results, retention and applicable rights. Additional consent would be requested before initiating that process; joining the waitlist is not screening consent.
Flagged for attorney review · Any screening notice, consent and applicable legal requirements need review before activation.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and sign-in credentials.
- Profile content you choose to add: first name, photos, a short bio, a general location (city or area — never a street address), interests and similar optional fields.
- A record that you affirmed you are 18 or older, and the date and time of that affirmation. We do not require your date of birth for this.
- Activity in the service: outings you create, invitations sent and received, messages in a Date Room, whether an outing was recorded as having happened, blocks and reports.
- Basic technical and error information needed to keep the service running and secure.
We do not collect payment details during pre-beta. We do not run advertising or sell data.
Who can see what
Other members can see your profile content, and the contents of a Date Room you share with them. They never see your email address, your precise location, your invitation preferences, your blocks, or any report you file.
A small number of authorised founders and moderators can access account and activity records when reviewing a safety report or investigating abuse. Access to safety evidence is logged.
Notifications
Email is the only external notification channel in pre-beta. Emails tell you that something happened — a new invitation, an acceptance, a decline — and link you back into the application. They do not name the other member or the outing, so nothing sensitive appears on a lock screen. You control this in Settings → Date Invitation Preferences.
Service providers
We use a hosting and database provider to run the service and an email provider to send notifications. They process data on our instructions only.
Flagged for attorney review · A named sub-processor list, data-retention schedule, international-transfer basis, and any state-specific privacy notices (including Texas and, if applicable, CCPA/CPRA and GDPR rights) must be drafted and reviewed before public launch.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from Settings at any time. When you do, we immediately remove your profile content and photos, delete your invitation preferences and any assistant memories, withdraw your open invitations, cancel outings you were hosting, and disable sign-in.
We keep a limited record where we are required to: safety reports and their evidence, blocks, moderation and audit logs, and anonymous counts of completed outings. These are kept for safety, abuse-prevention and legal reasons and are not used to rebuild your profile. We tell you this plainly rather than describing deletion as total erasure.
Security
Access to member data is restricted at the database layer so that members can only read their own records and those shared with them. No system is perfectly secure; report any concern through the in-app report flow.
