Impromptu Date

DFW Founding Tester Program

Stop waiting for someone to go with you.

There's a restaurant you want to try.

A concert you want to see.

An event you want to attend.

Something happening tonight.

The problem? You don't want to go alone.

Impromptu Date helps you discover people who want to do the same thing — and gives you a structured way to decide who you'd like to go with.

Early access is beginning in Dallas–Fort Worth.

The idea

Start with the plan. Then find the person.

  1. 01

Find something you want to do

Dinner. Live music. A game. A festival. Coffee. A museum. A local experience. Something spontaneous.

  2. 02

    Raise your hand

See an activity you'd enjoy? Express interest in joining.

  3. 03

    Go do something

If you're selected and both participants complete the required steps, connect through Impromptu Date and make the plan happen.

Activity first. Person second.

What would you do if you didn't have to go alone?

Just a few examples — plans can be almost anything you'd enjoy with company.

Less swiping. More living.

Activity first

Start with something you actually want to do.

Real-world connection

The goal isn't endless messaging. It's getting out and experiencing life.

You choose

Express interest in activities that appeal to you and decide who you'd like to experience them with.

Built with trust in mind

Identity, eligibility and safety mechanisms are being incorporated into the Impromptu Date experience.

Founding Tester Program

Help us build the first DFW Impromptu Date community.

We're launching through sequential testing cohorts, beginning in Dallas–Fort Worth. Cohort 1 will include approximately 30 participants.

After evaluating the first cohort's feedback and resolving issues, we plan to invite Cohort 2 of approximately 30, then subsequent groups. Timing depends on what we learn.

The overall waitlist stays open. Thirty is a testing-group target, not a registration limit. Founders select participants for each phase; joining does not guarantee selection or immediate access.

  5. 5

    Tell us what you think

Founding Testers will help us identify what works, what doesn't and what should improve before broader release.

Spontaneous doesn't mean careless.

Impromptu Date is being designed with trust, consent and participant control built into the experience.

Screening is not active, and joining this waitlist does not initiate a background check. If screening becomes part of a future phase, we'll explain the process, data requested and consent requirements before selected testers decide whether to participate.
